Sight replacement on a Bearcat?

Is there a sight that can be used to replace the front sight on a New Stainless Bearcat? When shooting it I can 'lose' the front sight in bright light. I know that Dave Clements has a sight replacement, and while I know he does excellent work, I honestly do not want to pay more for a set of adjustable sights than I paid for the revolver new.

Couple of "el cheapo" options include blackening the sight w/smoke, Sharpie marker, or flat black model paint. Those options are listed in order of increasing permanence.

Classy or "proper" way to do it is to serrate the visible/rear surface of the sight blade with a file. As our very own "rugerguy" likes to say, "Neatness counts!"

An old-time gunsmith who is good with a file could do that in short order...

I have been using the 'darken it with a match' since I first got it. Since I don't smoke I don't always have matches hence the question.
