Sig drop test

I got surfing and came across this site that has two diffrent drop tests on the 320. Both test the gun fails. Now here is what makes me think twice about these two veidos
Both show the gun going off in slow motion but the slide does not move in either veido.

Have a look and tell me if you would agree that these are fake.

I would assume, since there is a live human standing there doing the drop, that the drop was performed with a blank round -- as it was in several other videos of drop tests I have seen from other sources.

I know I am not going to perform that test with a live round chambered!

That's what I am being told. Which makes sense and would be why the slide doesn't move.

Then why use a blank round... why not a round with just a primer? Probably how they actually do it.

then again, they really need to use a true round to see if the gun would act like the sub machine gun Jamie Lee Curtis dropped in true lies.

The blank would be more "exciting" for the video.

I've seen similar tests where a primed case was used, and it wasn't nearly as much fun.

The tests were done with a primed case.

I could not get mine to fire by dropping but I sent it in anyway for the recall.

I don't own a Sig, but it made me wonder about any of the many Rugers that I own. I've been told that Ruger does drop tests, but whether they do a hammer test, to simulate a drop onto different parts of the rear of the gun, I don't know the answer. So I've decided to not drop my loaded guns on hard surfaces, even if it sounds like a fun thing to do!
