SHOT - who is going?

I'll be there,,, and I'll make it a point to be at the booth, Wednesday at 11:00!
I'll be watching for you Amanda!

If they brought it back east a bit, maybe I'd make it but just bad timing and distance being way out there. Alas, I'll live it all through you folks and GunBlast.
those attending, be safe!

For those going to SHOT show, a favor please.

Would you ask the manufacturers WHEN those items they had out
for us to drool over last year, will actually be out for sale?

Thanks!

Pat,,, which ones are you referring to?
Here are just a few:

Sig P320 in .45ACP - MEDIUM grip size plastic frame (compact).

Kahr TP9 and TP45 WITH Delta Point Red Dot built in, I'd love a 45

Kimber K6 Revolver . . . It's in their web page but no one can get them.

That's just off the top of my head.

Realizing that SHOT is a marketing ploy to see if anyone will salute an
idea, it is very frustrating to have a glimpse and then nothing for a year
or two more.

Can someone please try and get a straight scoop on the whole Ruger #1 rifle confusion? Lipsey's says one thing, Ruger says another. With both being there, well...

Pat, I believe the Kimber revolver is becoming more available. The FoNRA events have one in their packages this year.

As for the Number 1's. Lipseys has the exclusivity on them. What ever they choose to have built,, will be what we get.

They told me years ago to wear shoes,,, or they wouldn't let me in. So, I go in camouflage,,, I wear shoes.

I'll be wearing a hat,,, with a Ruger patch on the front, and a NRA patch on the back. Besides,,, we all wear name badges,,, so look for me; I'm "Tyrone" and FMC is "Amanda!"

I would have considered going but there's still 13 days left in our duck season. Whoever schedules these things should take this kind of stuff into consideration.

Could someone stop by the Uberti booth and find out if the 1858 Remington black powder Buffalo Bill Centennial limited edition they're bringing out this year has a forged or cast frame? (Uberti makes regular 1858 Remington clones in both forged and cast frame renditions.)
(I'd be interested in the wholesale/retail price as well, if it has a forged frame...)
Thank you!

Ok Pat,,, I got to discuss your questions with the different folks. Here is what I got.

Sig P320 in 45 acp medium frame. In current production. From the attention I saw on these,,, the demand may be the reason they are scarce where you are.

Kahr TP9 or the TP45 with the Delta Point. Estimated to be in "production" within 6-9 months.

Kimber K-6. Currently in production at the rate of about 100 per day. Expect a 3-6 month wait time as demand is higher than production can meet. Now,,, if the ones I felt at SHOT are any indication of production,,, I was not terribly impressed with the feel of the action.

MANY THANKS!

I'm still convinced that they "run it up the flag pole" to see how much
interest there is. If there's enough . . . then . . . they start production.

Oh well.
I'll start looking for the Kahr next fall.

THANKS!
