A couple of old model shorties. The one has a 4" Smith & Wesson barrel and is 41 Special and the other is s mid framed OM 357 converted to 41 Mag with a short barrel.
Sorry about the turned picture - me and Photobucket aren't getting along to well.
Ruger Single Six 32 H&R with Harton shortened barrel to 3.5", ERH shortened, base pin shortened, color case hardened by Harton's CCH guy, Bowen black powder chamfer and Bisley hammer fitted.
Stock length (3.75") Montado .357 w/ locally installed Bowen lanyard and Sack Peterson elk seconds (I love for their "flaws" he pre-warned me about!), and NV Sheriff .44 Sp w/ Montado hammer. American hollys courtesy Carl "Private" Schultz. Both tuned "within an inch..." IOW, "just so." Prior to these I was neither a big stainless or shorty fan, but these are great.
Here's a few of mine. It's an older photo and I've added a Stainless New Vaquero Birds Head in .45 ACP and a .44 spl Sheriff’s since. :D
The 3 on the left are in .45 LC. In the middle are the New Vaquero Montados, .357 mag. and .45 LC. On the right are two in .357 mag. and one in .45 LC.
The Birds Heads are 'Clean Up' (Post 2005) guns with the warning on the bottom of the barrel.
