Short Barrel .41 Mag.

Here's one I just picked up on Gunbroker, a 98-9%, 4 5/8's barreled, non prefixed, .41 Mag. It'll go good with my 4 digit long barreled one. Now, all I got to do is get the brassie's and I'll have a set (in my dreams). Went for $557 plus a low shipping charge, so I'm as happy as if I had good sense. Sure couldn't get one at the shops or shows around these parts for that much.

I think the short .41's are much underappreciated. Fewer of those than .44 Flattops.

Is it a high or low 4 digit number. Would be interested in knowing serial number and if Inc or non Inc for both barrel lengths. I'm attempting to make a list of the known Inc serial numbers. Please email me at [email protected] Thanks.

Nice gun. It made me look at my list to see which ones I had in the 41's. I have one long bbl, and 2 short barrels,, but my 2 short barreled ones have the prefix. My long barreled one doesn't have the prefix. I too need the brassies,,,!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments, makes it worth getting something like this. I was intending to get a short barreled, non inc., very low 4 digit .41, from a local gunshop, but waited about one day too long and missed it. It wasn't in nearly the condition of this one, and about a hundred and a half more money, so everything turned out good in the end. 41 Nut, I'll send you the e-mail with those particulars you asked about.

speaking of the short barreled boxes for the OM 41's, what are they going for?? see them from time to time at the OGCA but they seem way more than what I would want to pay for one...................
