Second Range Outing

Took the recently obtained 3 screw Single Six to the range again this morning, and fired some .22 WMR ammo through it, since that's the correct ammunition for the cylinder, as I discovered. I'd never fired .22 magnum before...its awesome!

.22wmr is a great rimfire cartridge. I've been using it in various rifles (and a couple different revolvers) for over 50 years. Lot's of variations in bullet design over the years, so you might want to try out a few. I have noticed that .22wmr has gotten a little hard to find locally in the last couple of months.

Besides what's shown below, there's also a shotshell in wmr for snakes, etc. I use that in my Heritage revolver, since we do have copperheads around here.

I have a single six and a kit gun in .22 magnum. They’re a lot of fun and they are both excellent little revolvers.
