scoped gp-100

Boy, good luck on that. I have a scoped 6inch Gp100 also. Incredibly accurate but heavy. I have a hard enough time finding a case to transport it to the range.

Concealed carry it isn't that's for sure. Can you post a picture? I'll do the same when I get home.

I was also going to suggest perhaps you might look for a holster with the top strap opened up. I think Ruger has them for their scoped Mark III pistols. There is a big notch and then the scope is of coarse outside the holster.

Here is a picture of my GP100 with a simmons scope and American Holly grips. As I said, it is pretty darn accurate. I don't have very good eyesight, but can hit the steel plate pretty consistently at 100 and 200 yards with the scope.

I found a safariland model 2313 I think at cabelas. Not real sure on the place of purchase but you might try googling it. It is open backed, hard plastic (kydex?) with a soft interior and adjustible. I used it a few times this year hunting. I would rather have a leather holster but this worked satisfactorly.
