Schlitz is gone

Wow! from the sound of it, my never have tasted Schlitz. sounding like that's not a bad thing.

Not a beer drinker when I was younger so I missed the locals here, Falls City, Louisville & the Ciunci beers Huedepohl & Burger. Have had Little Kings & like the stories of the other 2,,, not good.

Saw Falstaff mentioned above...Way back in 1972, my Mom caught a 7 year old me giggling and riding my Big Wheel in erratic circles out in our garage, after drinking a Falstaff beer that I found out in the garage fridge...Suddenly there was a chained padlock on the door after that particular incident!
So, anytime I hear Falstaff mentioned, I always think of that...And also this...
Oh, my Dad also had an old beat up 57 GMC Pickup back then too...😂

Holy smokes, that song takes me back to my Iowa days, 24 yrs old, my '51 green Chevy pick-up with .410 Mossberg in rear window gunrack and not a dime to my name. Ate lots of rabbits, catfish,.22 cent/box Kraft mac&cheese & $1.99 12 packs of Milwaukee's Best beer! Don't forget, "my Red neck, white socks & Blue Ribbon beer."

Drank a lot of Schlitz in the '60's at the Why Not Tavern in SE Iowa. Seems like everybody else drank Bud.
Used to live in Mount Pleasant Iowa
