I'm looking into buying a SS SBH Grip Frame ( From the 5.5 inch Model KS-45N ) for my .44 Magnum BH. I know I need the Hammer Spring, Hammer Strut, Hand Grip Locator Roll Pin, Grips, Trigger Spring Cross Pin and SS Screws. Have I covered everything?....................................... ..

I'm also want to install the XR3 frame from the .44 to my single-six so I think I'm ok there parts wise...............................

You may encounter some "visual" issues, since the "height" of the grip frames has changed a bit, especially with respect to the current XR-3 models.

Your parts list looks good.

Thanks for the "Heads Up", I guess I'll find out when I try to fit the Grip Frame from the 44 to the Single-Six and vise-a-versa just to see how it will pan out.......................................

I swamped a dragoon grip frame into my NMBH without changing any other parts. Did I err in doing this? I did change the hammer for other reasons though.

If it fit and functions, it's good. You apparently swapped parts from similar guns, ie, both New Models or both Old Models . . . although it'ds possible to use a NM grip frame on an OM gun with some "considerations".

You will have all the parts needed for the swap by stripping the take off frame of parts. The only possible thing you will need is a hammer spring/strut if you have one with a lock and will be replacing it with a non lock frame.

Swap the 50th 44 to the 22, then take the parts from the 22 frame and use them in the Super frame.

Here is a picture of a new XR-3 on a Single Six. Straight forward swap.
