Yea, in SoFLA that's the killer. Driverless cars (barely see over the dash of the caddy) turn signal gives the right to change lanes it's your job to stay out of my way, turning right from the left hand lane( left hand signal on of course). But so far I have a 10% discount. SoFls is the happy hunting grounds for PI attys..You better make sure you drive within THEIR guidelines.
A guy at work went through it. He was all happy until he had three or four hard braking events. Some kids, dogs, and a deer. Suddenly he lost his good rates.
Agreed. No way do I want someone critiquing my driving. There is not a way in Hades I am signing up for that. OnStar is disabled in all my cars that it came with. I pay way too much (for no reason) for five cars and I will soon kick two college kids off my policy before I sign up for that racket.

Not married are you ?Agreed. No way do I want someone critiquing my driving.

Because people drive like maniacs down there! My parents retired to Naples, and each time that I visited them, I looked forward to returning home to sanity...SoFla auto insurance is Brutal, you all just haven't been encouraged enough yet.
Good call, after 42 years I have finally gotten used to it... at least on most days....Not married are you ?
Well being in the automotive industry makes me that much more rigid on the topic. You should see the stupid problems having a tracker plugged into the data link connector on a complex vehicle causes. It's bad enough having company owned vehicles with doo-dabs added and hardwired tracking devices put in poorly by local note lots, but the Progressive plug in thingies cause issues too.Son drives a company provided vehicle. The previous employer used one of those 'apps' and I can honesty say it was STUPID. Panic stop to miss a deer--DING. Don't stop and hit the deer--that's fine.
He also found that a 4 house 'village' up the road had once shown a 45 MPH speed zone that had never been lifted. No town/village anymore and no sign but the computer said there was and the driver had just violated the no longer posted 45 MPH speed zone--DING. All sorts of stupid things that caused DINGS on the drivers' performance but were not related to real life good driving habits.
