SAA Holsters

I'd like to see various leather holsters. Post them with the makers name. I really would like to see older versions but any leather ones would be good.

I have a lot of nice leather but unfortunately, not many good pics.

El Paso Threepersons holster on a #2 Texas belt with a cap/cartridge box. This is my Single Six rig. The loops are for .32H&R, the cap box is for loose .22's.

This is a pair of holsters from C.O.W.S., a Slim Jim crossdraw on the right and a Mexican loop on the left. Belt is El Paso. Both sixguns are USFA's, a .22 and a .45Colt.

This is an el cheapo Oklahoma flap holster on a Leatherman blackpowder belt with a hand forged buckle from Dixie Gun Works. Cimarron 1860 Richards Type II cartridge conversion in place. Knife is a hand forged custom skinner from ML Knives.

Howdy

Here is my CAS rig. It is a Duke style rig made, by Dave Duclos who was doing business as S.D. Meyers. I have used it for close to ten years in CAS. I don't use that shotgun slide anymore, I now have two four shell slides that I wear one on each side of the buckle. The belt is a rough side out money belt. I wear the long holster on my left side, facing butt forward like a cross draw holster. The guns are my 2nd Gen Colts, but these holsters have been known to carry Rugers too.

Don't know how I missed this before. I paid that SOB for a holster... 6 years ago now? Never so much as a peep in response. There's many of us out here, people need to know to avoid this crook.

Here is my favorite design of holster.

Not an old west type that's encumbered by too much leather. Just plain and simple with a restraining strap.
It's a discontinued Kirkpatrick. Similar to the Bianchi Lawman holster.

The title says SAA, but the post doesn't, so I'm not sure if you want this limited to Single Action leather. This stuff isn't for single actions, but if you are looking for ideas for a custom rig, maybe something here might help.

If you want SAA only, let me know and I'll delete my post.

Found this one hanging with the Cowboy 44 in a dusty old bleached out barn in Central California. I have the leather hammer latch somewere.

Looks like Andy made it for Jerry back in 1967.
