Conchos on holsters

Ordinarily I dislike conchos on a holster, y'know the 5 point sheriff star, and swirly girly types but I bought this one to replace a sheriff star on one of mine. I figure it's better than a hole

So long as it didn't rub against the gun in the holster I can see a adding a concho. If I were building a holster with a concho I would make it a lined holster so there would be no chance of metal to metal contact.
