I recently came into a couple S&W boxes plus one...other. Since I don't subscribe to the S&W equivalent of RENE I'm curious what these are worth?

Boxes and contents are "complete" as best I can tell. Both boxes come with registration post card, instructions, warranty statement, parts list/diagram and the original paper wrapping. The 586 also has the original sales receipt and hang tag.

The Beretta appears to have everything and includes the original sales receipt.

.

Since those boxes are serial number specific, and for not particularly rare examples, I'd be hard pressed to pay more than $15 or so for one, for my gun(s).

YMMV, of course.

Being the S&W boxes are post 1983-84 ,new style, one piece fold up, they are in the $20-30 range TOPS and the Beretta box is around $10....................put them on ebay ,hope to find the gun that is model "specific" or you will have to remove the labels to be more generic for other models within the frame size (Both are medium) 4 and 6 inchers...........

I didn't expect much for the Berreta but was hoping a little more for the S&W garb. Probably have to go to the 'Bay with them.

The S&W guns came with the cleaning kit and sight adjustment tool in one revision or another. I've found the kits often bring more than most post-60s boxes; and "everything but the gun" even more. The end labels have been counterfeited more than women's anatomy in LA...
Still, someone is looking for a period-correct box out there.

lovemydals - These were for a 12 and 686 if I recall.
