S&W 10mm

Figured it’s time I jumped on the 10mm bandwagon. At first I was thinking about a S&W 629 .44 mag but that’s a heavy lump of steel to lug around and the 10mm is more practical with plenty of HP for hunting and protection. I still will likely get the 629 down the road just because I want one but it can wait. I’m pretty sure I decided on the MP M2.0 in either the 4” or 4.6” barrel. Read some good reviews and wanted some opinions here. Does anyone have one or tried one and care to share thoughts?

I have one. M&P 2.0 with a holo sight. It's comfortable and easy to hold. The trigger is sloppy. My only complaint with it, and I hope to remedy that with a better one this fall.

When did you buy it? Ive been doing some reading and heard about some of the early triggers being not so good, was hoping they did a fix. Apex makes replacements that are much better I understand but guess you already knew that. https://www.apextactical.com/

i got a s&w 4.6 2.0 made in 2/23 and it has a great trigger and is a joy to shoot 10mm.

Which length barrel did you go with?

4.6" barrel. My ship date was April 2022. The trigger is ok; it just takes getting used to. It has what I consider to be excess travel. Once it hits resistance, then it is a smooth 3-4 lb (I haven’t checked it but it goes fast) pull. It’s just the trigger travel while getting to the sear that bothers me.
