I was all Glock when I retired from LE after 32 years in 07 and stayed that way until this year. I was so curious I had to get an RXM. Then the week before last I bought a Springfield XD 3 4 inch. Here is where I compared them at 15 yards. Photo is dark because I couldn't go down to the target at this indoor range. I seem to be slightly better with XD. I like both guns and they both fit my Relentles suede iwb for Glock 19.

I have little interest in plastic pistols. That doesn't mean I don't own a few. And at least one I carry every day.
I also own the RXM, and for me, it's much easier for me to shoot than many of the Glock products. I'm not bashing Glock, but they just aren't for me.
This little RXM fits me well, and I shoot it pretty well.
That all said, it now goes back into the safe. If someone is looking for this kind of pistol, I highly recommend the RXM.

I think what I found through the years is some pistols dont fit every person. I had a glock 21 was a great shooter but it is a big grip and smaller hands can not hold real well. I had a T.O. that carried a single stack. Yes He was a little guy. I also had a sig sauer p229 40S&W it shot well but was finicky on cleanliness and the mags had to be switched out fom time to time as the springs would tend to loose tension being left loaded alot on the job. And what would happen is the last couple rounds would have trouble feeding up..

I picked up an RXM in February and went straight to my gun clubs outdoor range because I was curious if the reviews were accurate. I only have about 300 rounds through it but not a single malfunction. For a $400 gun you can’t beat it and it’s easily an EDC pistol. Ruger did a good job with the RXM.

I have also noticed how a handgun fitting my hand can be a big factor. I, for whatever reason do not shoot the XD series well at all. Now my Glock sidearms are a totally different story. I shoot them very well. Different strokes for different folks remains valid.

Yep, I recently learned that with the purchase of an FN 502 .22LR.
I liked the ergonomics so much I bought the same thing in 9mm , FN 509. Only real difference is the 9mm is striker fired whereas the .22LR is hammer fired and has one beautiful trigger.

One thing about the Springfield XD, is that they make the XD model and a XDm model. The "m" is for matched gun parts and supposedly would get much better accuracy. I have bought several of the "m" models and yes, they are better in quality and accuracy.
