Ruger service if modified?

I put a Galloway trigger in my LCP Max. Will Ruger service the gun for a 'fail to battery' issue? Or should I put the original trigger back in before sending the gun in?

I'd put the original trigger back in. If it were me, before I sent it off I'd then shoot it to see if it still fails to go into battery.

Put the original back. If it accepts the repair, Ruger will remove non-OEM parts and replace them with Ruger parts. At least that has been their policy for a long time. I think it is still in force.

#1 They will either refuse to work on it, #2 remove the non OEM parts and replace and maybe not get the custom trigger back.

Both Kimber and Sig CS ask about any mods before they send the return label, so wouldn't be surprised if Ruger does also.
