But no cross-breeding allowed! My S&W's keep their distance from my Rugers,, and the Contenders get along with the Rugers like good neighbors!

So true. Some years back I wrote an article for the Ruger Owners and Collectors Society magazine that was titled "Just like Rabbits" talking about my Bearcat collection.

For years it was the 'P' series pistols from Ruger for me.. then they decided to go striker fired and I decided to keep my 'P' addiction but switched from 'R' to 'S'. but for some reason you folks decided I could stay.... I just punched it up in my gun database... I still own 26 Rugers and this is after giving a number of them away.

Mine coexist very nicely without issues but they have to... being unloaded :)

Believe it or not I probably am going to and some will be here.... probably in the next year or so. Bob Wrights post about the guy giving him a Case Knife and my reply there got me to realize I need to go ahead and give a good friend my Puma Lever Action rifle chambered in 357 magnum that he coveted a good number of years back and I had listed to go to him in my will.
