I just returned from the pistol range and my P-95DC does not like Federal 9mm ammo at all. It would not feed the first two rounds at all. This weapon is a conversion from a manual safety to a decocker model. I fired two 15 round magazines in a totally dry weapon in order to test the weapon system. Next I fired the weapon with a liittle oil in it. It just doesn't like the Federal ammo at all. What do you gentlemen use in your P-95 pistols. Thank you.

Anything and everything so far. Federal, American Eagle, Blazer. Haven't had a problem with any of them.

I've never had any problem with any ammo and I've used 10 or 12 brands through my KP95DC(including Federal and AE). Have you tried Blazer or WWB?

My P95 eats anything I feed it including ammo others won't cycle. A friend had some ammo that was old or had been damp 'cause the brass was covered with green ~ the P95 chewed right through those too.

How was your gun converted from M. safety to decock? This could be part of the problem. How many rounds fired of other brands after the conversion? Any problem with those? How old is your P95? Would like to help, but more info.

Buster Cat..........

Buster Cat: I changed the trigger bar using a one from a DC model and just added a DC slide on top. The weapon functions check perfectly -- I think it is just the three new factory magazine springs. This pistol needs to be be broken in with all types of ammo. In fact, a friend of mine told me that Federal is made by Winchester -- Federal is the only brand that I have use so far. Thanks.
