"Ruger only" 32 H&R Mag loads...115 grain

Was wondering if any of you folks would share some suggestions for "warm" 32H&R Mag loads for 115gr. cast bullets? Looking for something around 950fps-1000fps through my 4 3/4" Single Six.

The last issue of Handloader mag has an article by Brian Pearce about loads for the 327 Federal mag, and "Ruger only" loads for the 32 H*R mag.

I'm not at home so I can't remember the data. There are several loads listed... and its a good article. He lists other powders like power pistol, AA#9, red dot, 231, enforcer... although not all powders are listed with both the 32 and the 327...

In my Smith Model 16-4, .32 H&R Magnum with 6" barrel, 10.0 grs of H110 with a 120 gr cast bullet (Cast Boolit Group Buy mould) chronographs at 1100 fps.

I have to agree with Dale533... abt 10.2g of H-110 is the sweet spot for
just about all my 32 mags .. around 1120fps with a 115g Hard cast bullet

I have loaded 10.9 grains of WW296 under the Sierra 90 grain jhp for about 1120 fps from a 3-3/4" single six.

That Handloader article listed a hot load of 11.8 grains H110 with the Hornady 100 grain xtp hp for about 1256 or 1279 fps from Pearce's 6" custom SIngle Six in 32 H&R mag.

Thanks for the responses guys... In my Single Six, I found that 9.2gr. of H110 got me right around 1050fps, speeds were really conistant, accuracty was GREAT, AND I could not find a single speck of lead in the cylinder or bore!!! :D
10gr. of H110 gave me 20% pierced primers although nothing else made the load look "hot".

Was that with the GB Keith SWC? What primer, and case were you using?

Starline cases, CCI 500(small pistol) primers, 115gr. RNFP Silver State Bullet(500/$30), 9.2gr. H110(#10 Little Dandy Rotor) and with a heavy crimp. I am really impressed with these cheap bullets...have a good sized meplat on them. Going to test terminal performance in the coming weeks.

12 gr of LIL gun is a better load.
