So yesterday I brought the eighth Ruger into the house, and I will admit, it was a complete impulse buy. Well, I've wanted a smaller 1911, I just didn't need one. But then I touched it and you know where that leads.

I'm still loving having all this fancy stuff on a 1911. LOL! That other one is a Springfield Mil-Spec that had a not so good life before I acquired it. Not the best looking gun, but it is a heck of a performer. And I expect the Ruger will make a good competitor for it.

I don't see anything wrong above. Only 8 Rugers,,,,???? Your case of Rugeritis isn't too bad,,,, yet,,,,!
I have a few 1911's myself. Including a Ruger.

I love the looks of a 1911 but for some reason don't care for the gun as a shooter. But the Ruger is a nice looking pistol.

And get yourself some more Rugers!

Very nice Ruger 1911, I've noticed the commander series is finally coming down in price. Every time I start looking at them along comes another flat top or two. I guess it keeps me trying to reach that carrot dangling out in front.

Well, I shot the thing this past weekend... this is going to be a long friendship. 100 rounds, not a single hiccup, and chewed out a nice big tight hole in the target. Magazines are a little tight, but nothing that can't be fixed.

Yeah, I know, I only have eight. But I have a wishlist much bigger than that, believe me. :)

I hear that a lot. I guess it depends on the person. I've got a nice variety of guns, and I seem to to best with the 1911 and guns similar in style. It could just be all the metal, but who knows. :)

They are good shooters and will shoot 200 grain cast SWC with out a hiccup. About 4000 rds from now everything really comes together.
