Ruger new vaquero issue

If you apply leftward pressure to the cylinder, as if you were trying to turn the cylinder counter clockwise, while cocked, and pull the trigger letting the hammer drop naturally, the cylinder will rotate counter clockwise. It doesn't take much pressure at all to make this happen.
I have had this new vaquero for a few years and it gets used often, except since I noticed this issue as it doesn't seem safe.
my first thought was maybe the cylinder latch spring and/or plunger is worn out.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

It appears the hammer plunger is "tripping the cylinder latch" a wee bit.

I'd call Ruger and discuss.........

Well, not true. I'd dig into it until I figured it out and fixed it all by myself.

OR, maybe you could just quit trying to turn the cylinder backwards while in the process of firing it. This is an action that you would NEVER do under any circumstances.

My suggestion:

STOP doing that.

Its not that I did it on purpose, I found this issue by accident, the fact is it takes little pressure at all for this to happen and seems to be a safety issue and I wanted to resolve the issue not just ignore it.

Tried replacing all the internal parts with parts out of another new vaquero, that does not have this issue, but the issue still persists. Couldn't replace the cylinder because the other cylinder would not fit.
So now I guess I will contact ruger.
