I have acquired a Ruger Mark III Target marked "One of 100" on the rear of the slide. Serial number is 271-78855. Can anyone provide any additional info on this pistol?

Only thing I could find. I seem to remember seeing them but I only collect Mark IIs. So don't remember much.
