Ruger LCR .357 prices...

While on vacation in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. we stopped by the BassPro Shop and while looking at the guns,
noticed the $ 579.00 price tag on the LCR .357 revolvers. I just smiled while walking on carrying my
own LCR .357 that I paid $ 479 for couple yrs. ago!

I've noticed this sort of variation as well, although I think it's seasonal with the production runs at Ruger. I've seen the 3" LCRx's go new locally in the high 300's, with the regular LCRs (any cal) in the low to mid 400's. I've also seen, as you have, people asking ~600 for them. Difference seems to primarily be who has 'em and how many other shops also have them in stock, which says seasonal runs to me.

It's strange to me that this occurs with something as high production as LCRs though. I don't see it with SP or GP guns in .357M.

I noticed the prices have gone up substantially in the last year or so. Both online, Ruger msrp, and at several lgs'.

$549.00 here in southern kentucky, a sale from time to time has them down to $519.00. but most times they are $549.00.

And I have an FFL guy about 2 miles away that charges $15

I have noticed the prices here in Middle TN are about like that for the LCR's in 357 as well as 327 Federal. All the others have been under $500 usually.

Bass Pro is usually fairly close to MSRP unless they are running a sale on a few models. Did you check at Bud's or Smokey Mtn Knife works just up the road there?

At least the guns are out there to be bought...

Didn't make it to Buds on this trip but went there last year. Just happened to be looking at the revolvers while in Bass Pro. I bought my LCR .357 about 2 yrs. ago from a local small shop and the $ 479 price was a good deal at the time.
