LCR Durability

I didn't start counting rounds through my guns til well after I bought my LCR 38 Special back in 2011 or 2012. But mine should have somewhere between 2500 and 3500 rounds thru it. Works must fine. Shows wear on the recoil shield and the grips have worn in from almost a decade of daily carrying.

Yes, it is highly durable and reliable for its intended purpose. You will not shoot it to pieces with a lifetime of reasonable carry and practice.

Zero problems here with about 10 years on my first one. All three run great any time I shoot them: .357 lcrx, .327 lcr, .22 wmr lcr.

Nothing about the build of the LCR (esp 357) is weak.

The cylinder lockup is a bit different than the sp101/gp100. That takes a second to get used to.

LCR -- .38/+P Doing well I like it so much I bought an extra. IMHO for it's intended purpose .38/+P cal. Is about perfect. Practice is a pleasure.
