Surprised I don't see more threads about them on this forum. I've wanted one since they came out, got mine a couple weeks ago. So far I like it a lot. Muzzle velocity for both Winchester and Remington 150g Power Point and Core-Lokt ammo averages 2650fps. I polished up the trigger and it came out very nice. Haven't had a chance to shoot it with the scope and didn't have the tools to adjust the peep when I had it at the range. Accuracy with the peep was good, even with my old eyes. Already picked up 3- and 5-round poly mags, which fit better and will see the most use.

Can't wait to get it to the range with the scope.

I like it, what scope ya got on her?

Burris Fullfield II 3-9x with Ballistic Plex reticle. Same scope I have on most of my rifles. They work well out to 600 yards, the max target distance at my local range.

Have not decided whether or not to get a scout scope. If I do it will go in quick release rings.

I think my next long gun will be the new light weight model, after seeing the gun blast review that break seems to work well on such a light gun.

I just look on the Ruger site and the synthetic stock gun weight the same as the laminated gun.
