Ruger Gold Label……...

I managed to acquire a few back in the day. When Ruger stopped producing them all kinds of BS flew around the internet. The most troubling, to me at least was quality of the shotgun its self. I have one that I have been shooting for 9 years now. I took it to Tanzania for Guinea fowl. I had to use 12 gauge ammo from TZ and it was hot !!! Our game scout loved them so every day we would shoot him some. I went through almost a case of that ammo. Sense then I have shot clays, grouse and my favorite, squirrels. Not the first issue…Locks up tight as the first day I shot it. Not sure what the problem was, but I don't think is was quality……………………….JJ
