Ruger flatgate with 4-5/8" barrel

I own a Ruger Flatgate serial 38,6XX with a 4-5/8" barrel. When I purchased it 2-3 years ago, I phoned Ruger to verify how it was shipped from the factory. The lady checked her records and verified that my gun was shipped as a 4-5/8" barreled Single-Six. I asked her if there were other Single-Sixes in the records in that serial number range with 4-5/8" barrels. Her answer was, "Yes. there are several."
I have never read about the existence of such guns and I look forward to any comments. The gun is only in about 85% condition. It has seen much use.
