My Alaskan 454 arrived two weeks ago to my FFL with a top crack in the case. Didn’t think much of it. Decided to call Ruger, 3 days later UPS delivered a brand new one with corresponding label. They added some Ruger stickers, etc.

I’ll call that a customer service win.

While I agree with everyone's take on Ruger customer service as I have had to utilize it successfully, I am not sure what a cracked case is on a Ruger revolver. My guess is maybe the packaging? If that what it is they went way above and beyond.

And here's the thing, most of the warranty service was caused by the owner. And Ruger will still take care of you in most cases. And the guns were bought used.
They may not be the most refined but in this day and age if you can get anyone who half way understands English you are fortunate.

I will give a shout-out to S&W as a one time experience the receptionist actually put me hold and consulted quickly with an engineer in house. However a few years later I discovered he gave me some bulsht information as it had nothing to do with hard primers but rather a lite trigger spring. (which is why it had a decent trigger) But, but, but, we give A+ for the receptionist going beyond the call of duty.
