Just to add another pleasant CS experience here.

I hadn't cleaned my SR40 in a few range trips (all short 30-40 rounds). So last night I get to it. Upon going over the top of the gun I see this:

So I call up CS this morning and within five minutes a replacement is on its way to me at no cost!

I am working with CS now on getting a revolver fixed and it has been nothing but good things when dealing with them. They promptly return emails and phone calls and truly seem like they want to help you.

I've a few dealings with Ruger CS over the years...all were excellent.

Just a quick update. The part showed up today just about a week and a half later (which is exactly how long I was told it should take).

This is why I'll always look to Ruger first for my firearm needs.
