I traded off my Ruger 50th Anniversary flattop today for this fine lookin Smif. I've been wanting to try the 8 shot N frame for a while and my buddy wanted a 357 to go with his 44 flattop aniversary so it worked out.
Should be fun. I cannot believe how light it is and i could not imagine shooting the 44 mag in this configuration, although i would.
I shot it a little bit today just to get a feel for it. I was setup at 50 yards sighting in some of my other guns and i wasnt even hitting my target so i will go out one day with just this one and start close and work back. But i must say its a fun one. This one may be worth sening to a smith for an action job and go play at a steel match. Moon clips may be fun too. If they will work for 38 spl?
