I don't know for sure, But I have cut one down to 5.5" and it looks as one solid piece to me. I have also milled the side of one, Kinda like the .22 hunter, no signs of being 2 piece. . . . as much as I have cut, chop, and rebuild on them, I would think I would have seen something if it were 2 piece.imo
