Ruger American question

Sounds good to me. Wish they would offer it in .257 Roberts...

Hang in there. If the American sells good which I presume it will because of the price, you'll see a whole menagerie of calibers, and probably stainless and Lefty's and who knows what else.

Personally I'd like to see a youth configuration in 7mm-08. Make that in a righty and lefty with stock spacers and each of my 3 kids would get one in the next few years.

We'll be lucky to see plentiful production of the 4 calibers listed. Of course, I'd like to see them add 223, 25-06, 7mm-08, 280 Remington as standard calibers and limited production in 250 Savage, 257 Roberts, 260 or 6.5 CM, 338 Federal, 358 Win and 35 Whelen. I know I'm dreaming and it's not going to happen in a $300 rifle, but I'd bet money on the 7mm RM and the 300WM in the near future. Bob!!! :o
