These what? Practice what? What distance?
I'm shooting a HOWA .223 HB rifle @ 350 yards for 'long range practice'. It's great. Low recoil, moderates wiggles exceptionally well, holds on target easily.
Compared to a 'REAL' hunting rifle, it's far too easy and the shooter actually degrades from highest capability performance.

I've heard good things about them, but haven't had the opportunity to try one. I would think they would be a great father-son item. I can't imagine a young fella not loving it :)

Their mother said 'no shooting any of those monsters in your safe'. Since they're all center fire I should be fine with rim fire. 20 years of marriage you pick your battles :)
