Ruger 96 17 HMR

Just purchased a model 96 in 17 HMR. Not very common here. Anyone else shooting a model 96?

Shooting a 96? Yup... but mine has a little bit bigger hole in the barrel; about .426" diameter.

I'd love to find a .22 for less than a king's ransom to go with my .44

I had a 96/22 but sold it due to the atrocious trigger pull.

I have a 96 with both WMR and HMR barrels. Great Guns.

I heard that 7722 barrels are the same as the barrel on the 96. If that's the case is that the combination you are using?

Both of my barrels are 96 barrels. I believe the lugs are different lengths on the 77/22 and 96/22 barrels.

I have 9622 and a 9622m , great rifles, wish I had bought extras when they were available !
