Has anyone here reamed a RSS out to 17 WSM cartridge?

Single six 17HMR. 17 cal barrel

I don’t think the cylinder is long enough!
17 WSM is 1.44”
17 HMR is 1.349
Need to measure the 17 HMR cylinder but I don’t think it will fit!

I had two 8 shot 17 mach 2 cylinders made by BRC for my two 17 hmr single sixes wonder if they would do it? That would be cool if it was doable

I need to measure my HMR cylinder length but I’m thinking it will not be long enough to accept the 17WSM cartridge. I’m certain everything else would be an easy modification. Ream chambers, open up and make the rim dimensions right. I’m sure the gun could handle the pressure, all depends on if the cylinder length is there. It would be a lot cheaper if I would just read a book in the evening instead of coming up with hair brained ideas like this!
