I bet RENE can but don’t have mine handy at the moment.

That’s in the same ball park number as mine, 1966-67. mine also has the Mannlicher stock but has a crack on the underside and a chip missing on the butt.
It was recently gifted to me but the prices are pretty high for nice pieces. They are pretty rare nowadays and in demand. Supply can’t keep up with demand. Do a search online on prices to give yourself an idea, prices do vary greatly.

The biggest factor in rarity and value for the .44 carbine is condition. If it is well used with dings in the stock and imperfect blueing, then less than $1000. If NIB, $3,000+

There may have been up to a few thousand of the 44X produced. Checkered guns in my opinion were checkered by mistake (I think somebody thought they were checkering a 10/22 stock), but the checkered .44 Internationals and fingergroove Sporters will letter as such, there are probably up to a half dozen known of each.

It is certainly a Ruger I have wanted for 50 years, but never have owned.

Still on my "gotta get one" list.
