Ruger - 401 Powemag

We just finished this 401 Powermag Blackhawk (6.0" barrel):



I've shot the round for years with Herter's big SA but thought it would be neat in a Ruger:

Hasn't seen paper yet but offhand it stayed on a 10" rock at 50 yards. And the factory panels will remain until Mr. Chapman gets back to cutting grips. Eventually I'll have him do a set of high figure walnuts with OM emblems.

Neat project.

Would love to read your impressions of this round compared to similar loadings in a .38-40 and .41 magnum . . . all in appropriate guns, of course.

Heck, you might as well include a 10mm for comparison even though it's not really a "revolver chambering" in spite of the Buckeye Sports convertibles.
