1937 Dodge brake pedal fitted with 5/8-18 rod and hot shot 1/4-28 nipple.

Gutted the box assembly of all unnecessary parts. Flipped the mag release over and out, trimmed it of unnecessary metal, reused it's spring and now have an automatic return cocking piece for the hammer.

Action complete and fitting it all to the stock. A Ruger Blackhawk hammer spring was chopped and inserted to reliably pop caps.

Section of trans Dapt Chevrolet small block v8 motor mount for mounting rifle to stock with 2 action screws and a recoil crossbolt.

2 TC rod thimbles screwed and soldered to a muzzleloader front sight then hard soldered under the barrel. Takedown shotgun ramrod fitted through the horn nosecap for loading and cleaning.

Bedding the cherry action block/filler and the recoil crossbolt. Barrel will be bedded full length.

Final assembly.

7.4 lbs. Balance is about mid length and slightly muzzle heavy. As such it swings smoothly and stays in the shoulder.

5 prb proving shots at 80g Triple 7 fff. Working load is 60 to 70 grains.

Wow! Very impressive, and very inspiring. People like you are why I have so many piles of "resources" around here... whenever my wife asks why I won't throw anything away, I say" did you SEE what this guy made out of...??
 
I think Ruger should make an inline muzzleloader based on a 10/22 size rifle....wait, um, yeah, to late.
