Forgive me, been away for a few days. Just finished looking at the Ruger website and I do not see a 77 RSI anymore. Are they d/c?

Appears that way. they weren't exactly big sellers so dropping them allows the resources to be put towards more popular models.

The M77 RSI is discontinued? I am very suprised. While I do not know anything about sales of this product, I can say that the two that I own are at the top of my list of best rifles. I only wished that they were offered in more chamberings. My MKII in 243 shoots very well with the early LC6 trigger. My Hawkeye 308 is wonderful. OK, this is not good news. Well, I guess that this is another example of change.

Sorry to see them gone, but really no longer interested in them since there is such a limited choice in cal. Maybe they got the hint from the Lipseys runs that the unusual cals will sell much better.

I think sales were slow and Ruger took the opportunity to get rid the remaining stock through the guaranteed sales of a distributor exclusive.

Towards the last of December I my dealer got the last .308 RSI that Davidsons had for me.

I guess I was kind of late to the RSI party but am glad I was able to get one... well actually 2. Once the .308 layaway is paid for it will be time to start paying on the 7x57!

The SHOT show saw a new M77 RSI introduced - an all-stainless rifle made for Lipsey's. Chamberings are unknown by me.

250 Savage, 257 Roberts, 6x55, 7-08 were the first four, 7x57 is the new one out for this run. All limited to 250 per run.

That would be the 7x57 I mentioned. Only 250 being produced.
