RSI Rings

Did the RSI (tang safety ) 77s come with Ruger rings? Im looking at one from about 1984 that is said to be NIB but there are no rings.

My 275 Rigby did. It's common for people to delete the rings from the sale and sell them separately. A quick way to make a few bucks I guess.

Ive bought a number of new tang safety RS M77's that did not have rings in the box. When I worked in gun shops, i remember several RS guns that did not have rings in the box. Customers would accuse us of taking them out and reselling them, pretty unpleasant. So i wouldn't be surprised if an RSI would come through without rings, even though they were supposed to be there.

Mine came with rings in 1982.
