Robokiller App

I think the majority of you know the process I use (unique ring tone
for contacts, and manually block unwanted calls). For this month (JULY)
it has been quite effective. With that in mind, I have been seeing a
large number of add's for Robokiller on TV (From $2/mo to $30/2years).
The add's profess to take out virtually all of your robo calls and
allows you to "play with" any of those calls you care to.

I decided to do a bit of research on it to see if I might be willing
to pay what they charge. - - - Summary: NO WAY.

He does not include a few items. The app must have access to your
contacts list to keep it from blocking your friends/family. Fine;
except that once they have that information they share those AND
~ Location
~ Contact Info
~ User Content
~ Identifiers
~ Diagnostics
and there is no indication of how often or where that info. is sent!
Additionally, it requires you learn the app and its many idiosyncrasies for it to be
really effective. - - - Humm . . . learn a new app to have it do something fairly
simple? - - - PLUS side: it accesses their data base to keep those numbers
previously found elsewhere, from bothering you. - - - You pays a you money,
as you like, and hope it is worth it.

Seems to me the simplest is often the most effective.

One of the interesting things I see in old moves or even recent TV shows is when a phone rings the person has to answer it...

I discovered a simple solution to unwanted phone calls about 30+ years ago... just don't answer the phone.. let it go to voice mail, if you happen to be near the phone or feel like looking at your cell phone and it shows someone you want to talk to at that moment, then answer it... other wise anyone calling has to leave a message. I don't only do this for our home phone but also for my business and cell phone....
