It seems that there has been some kind of new law concerning robo calls. I don't remember even hearing about it but I am now getting a lot fewer of them.

On some of the calls, my caller ID even says "Potential Spam". It's never done that before.

I too get fewer calls. With ATT they show up as “Telemarketer.”

A couple weeks ago I got about 4 text messages from different numbers telling me my Nextflix. Credit card payment was declined, they wanted me to click on a website to straighten it out.

Only the websites weren’t Netflix, just some random website. I wondered how many people clicked on the link. It wasn’t directly obvious it was another company.

My landline gets many calls daily and most say "spam" then the number. Most times I let them go to the answering machine. Occasionally I answer and push the "#" button. It sends a high pitched noise. AT&T, who my landline is, with doesn't support any anti-robot technology in my area. My cell rarely ever gets any unknown numbers.

Mine come thru as "Fraud Risk," or "Spam Alert." It's odd though, I seem to be receiving more scam/robot calls since being put on the Do-Not-Call list.

We use Spectrum for our phone service the alert us when when we get ROBO
calls, one ring thats it. Kinda nice. ps

NC just pass some type of law, I get an email of whats going on from the AG. there was a NC number to report violators. I would say I get more and in quick succession this week! (Just got one as typing)

I hear the damned thing ringing off and on all day long, so I guess we're not seeing any reduction in pesky calls. I'm guessing we get between eight and a dozen junk calls a day, every day. The phone system is nearly useless and I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of it.
