Replacing Adjustable Stock on AR556 with a solid A2 stock

Anyone have any issues with replacing the adjustable stock on the AR556 with a standard M16A2 solid buttstock? I changed mine out and everything fits. Of course the buffer spring is longer that that of the one that comes with the AR556. Haven't fired it yet but I do not see where there would be any issue.

Thoughts, anyone?

You should be just fine; the buffer spring (and the buffer) are supposed to be longer for a fixed rifle stock.
