replacing a Vaquero hammer

Hello,
I have a Vaquero that was set up for fast draw and the hammer for fanning. I would like to go back to the original style hammer now or for a while. Can the hammer be simply replaced or is there smithing involved.
If it can just be replaced, can you post a good source for the hammer and if modification is required, approx cost to have it done?

Welcome to the Forum!
Generally, your can easily swap around same sized hammers w/o any issues. In this case, I'd have a gunsmith check it over if this gun was modified for fast draw & fanning. Timing issues can pop up as well as other parts not quite "right!"
