Remington Bullets?

Several years ago I got hooked on the Remington .44 caliber 240gr. semi-jacketed hollow point bullets for use in both the .44 Special and .44 Magnum. Of late I can't find these anywhere.

Does anyone know if these are available, and from whom?

I bought a pile, about 500, off a forum some years ago and I have grown to like them in the lever guns. Matter of fact, I am down to about my last 50 now...so I need to get a few.

Received email from Remington: These are currently not in production due to the "overwhelming demand" for rifle ammunition and components. Handgun bullets are not discontinued, but cannot say with certainty when production will resume.

I have used them also and find they shoot great. I can`t attest to their use on game as I have not used them for hunting only target shooting.

Bob, try Pat's Reloading on the inter web. Brian can tell you IF he has any. I get my 45 acp, 230 gr FMJ's from him. JMO

I seem to remember a few years ago that Midway had them on sale and that shipping was free if you bought 2000 of them. :D
