Can a Redhawk be converted to a 5 shot 475 Linebaugh?

See it done all the time on the Bisley/Blackhawks.

From Bowen's site:

"Each conversion includes a complete action/trigger tune, over-travel stop and an extra-length firing pin conversion. Caliber designations are remarked where appropriate. Please specify caliber and barrel length, where applicable. Various options, such as rear sights, shortened barrels, etc., are available. Please note: we recommend that the .475 Linebaugh be chambered only in the Super model Redhawk. Recoil is brutal in the standard model in this caliber.
Please note: We recommend the Super Redhawk (stainless .44 model only)
be used for .475 Linebaugh conversions due to heavy recoil."

I fondled a 4" Redhawk Bowen conversion here at a local gunshop. 5 shot 475, (he had a 50 AE also). The gunshop owner says it's pretty brutal to shoot. I know that my 4" 454 Redhawk conversion with 355ers at 1300 gets your attention. And it's magna ported. This Bowen conversion is not. If I were going to spend $ on a DA big bore, I'd start with an Alaskan and have Bowen build my dream gun. 500WE. If your'e gonna spend the money on a big bore like that, the caliber may as well start with a 5 and you may as well have the SRH action and grip frame. Mo Betta...

Just need deep pockets is all!!!

Yep. My pockets aren't that deep so I just bought a S&W 460V. For such a huge gun it has great balance with that 5" barrel. And I can load my 45LC and 454 brass for it too, which is good seeing how expensive 460 brass is.
