I noticed yesterday that Davidson's has boosted the MSRP of the Ruger Redhawk 44MAG 5.5" from $887 to $949, but the availability is still 0. I wonder if it could be an early sign that the Redhawk and DAs are close to the market?

It seems that every year just after the first of the year, Ruger passes along an new MSRP list. Been happening as far back as Ive been watching.
What bearing it has on if a new run is being released, I cant say.

my guess is that all guns will be priced higher. Oil is up, so the plastic guns will be more. Steel and aluminum have gone sky high.......

Well, you get the picture

:?: Steel is way down.

Raw material cost is not a factor in the production of firearms. Precision casting and machining of parts along with labor of assembly is the reason firearms are expensive.

There is always used. Picked this one up last fall for $515 otd.

I picked up my stainless 5.5" for $450.00 last year and couldn't be more pleased with it. Box, docs, and looked brand new - I got lucky.

But I'll tell ya, I'd trade it for one of them blued Redhawks in a heartbeat! They just don't get finer than that!
