I have an sp101 i'd like to give to my son when he's old enough. I thought it would be neat to have his name engraved on it in the mean time, maybe a small inscription. I might add some artwork as well depending on cost.

I don't know anyone in my area that does that kind of work and want to take it to someone who comes highly recommended.

Thanks,

Josh

That would depend on what you want, style, coverage, etc. All those variables figure into the price.

There is an Engravers forum, and some of the big names are on there.

Jerome Glimm is one person I know who does superb work. His work has been on one of a kind gunsmithing guild firearms. I know him from working together on Friends of NRA committees.

Jerome Glimm is for sure a good engraver, and a nice guy besides. Another you might want to consider is Robert Evans of Oregon City, OR. Excellent work, very nice person, not too far from Wenatchee.

MM6MM6 uses this gunsmith He did quite a few guns for him .
(www.mtart.com) Look in the Gallery in the post [Custom Engraved Fltz Colt] to see some of his work .It's off the charts .
