I searched the board pretty well but didn't find much on holsters for a 2/14" SP101 concealment holster. Maybe it's out there and I just missed it, so if there is, please accept my apology in advance.

I'm looking for decent quality holsters that won't break the bank for both OWB as well as IWB to give me some options. I prefer leather over Kydex.
I've been using DeSantis mini scabbards for most of my OWB carry but they don't make one for the SP101 models. I also like the Milt Sparks "Summer Special" but again, no joy.

I'd appreciate your recommendations and advice gentlemen.

Thank you,

Creek

I got a leather X-draw OWB from steelhideleather.com for my Dan Wesson Porkchop but my SP101 in 32 H&R Mag fits very nicely in it.

If it goes both ways I can't help but think there were compromises made. Love my VMII from Sparks but the wait lord.

I have 1 Mitch Rosen OWB it’s nice enough I’m looking at an IWB too.

I ordered an Azula holster that looks pretty close to what I want and a Masc paddle holster. Just waiting on the Azula now.

Last night I checked a drawer of orphan gun stuff and found a DeSantis mini scabbard for an LCR I used to have. It's a model 019-02 and the SP101 is a pretty good fit. It's now a discontinued model so I feel like I hit the jackpot.
The pistol rides a bit high in it, but it works.

Creekside, how do you like that gun? I found one exactly like it for sale and it’s calling my name. Made in 2020. I really like the blued look.

I found a used DeSantis leather holster for my SP101 on eBay for around $40. I'm a lefty so I bought it as soon as I saw it. I've had it for a while and it's a very comfortable.

I've found good used leather holsters for my Rugers (SP101, SR1911 Officers 9mm, New Model Vaquero) on eBay for a fair price.

Once in a while I'll take a chance and buy a cheaper leather holster but I usually regret it. Nowadays I try to find leather holsters from DeSantis, Kirkpatrick, etc.

Lots of Simply Rugged fans here.
You can’t beat their turnaround time for what you get. But if you CAN wait, you need to talk to Doc Barranti over at Barranti Leather. He did one of the first if not the first Texas Tuck and Texas Spare for my three-inch Lipsey’s SP101 in .327 Fed Mag. I couldn’t be happier.
