Anyone use peep sights or "ghost ring" rear sights on SBH, have a scope mount on a 9 1/4" ported barrel and looking for a replacement.

I've had one mounted on my .45 for a while now. Mine is/was made by One Ragged Hole, but they may be out of business from what I've heard. They're not as precise as the standard 'square notch' (at least for me), but are easier for me to use as my eyes grow older.

I saw the article on one of those pop-up internet read sights and tried there link, went out of business on the 11th of july, just my luck, so now my search for something simular to the "one ragged hole" type sight.

sbooth57, I was looking for those sights also and came across this site
www.warrencustomoutdoor.com . Very similar to the one ragged hole. Hope this helps.

I have ghost-ring rears mounted on both my custom Caspian 45 ACP 1911 and custom EGW/Springfield Armory 9x19 1911; I like them.
Both wear fiber-optic fronts.

I tested the ORH on one of my GPs, but didn't care for its large 'ring' (ID is exact diameter of my Caspian ghost-ring blades).
